Vegan Dining Discount

Universal Orlando Resort, Orlando, Fla.- There are plenty of amazing perks when you are a Universal Orlando Resort passholder. One of those near and dear to me and my belly are the discounts on FOOD!!!! Well my fellow Universal Orlando Vegans, now through December 20, 2019 passholders can enjoy extra discounts on dining.

Not all locations are participating with these discounts, but I have a list of the ones that are! I also included a few of the vegan options available at those locations.

Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen

  • Truffle Fries (ask to remove cheese) – Fresh Herbs, White Truffle Oil
  • Pistachio Hummus (ask about the lavosh or substitute with celery) – Ground Chickpeas, Herbs, Pistachio, Sesame Seeds, Olive Oil, Oven Baked Lavosh
  • Roasted Brussel Sprouts (without mayo and cheese)

Vivo Italian Kitchen

  • Complimentary Bread & Olive Oil (confirm first as there are conflicting reports)

  • Roasted Beet Salad (ask to remove cheese) – Beets, Spicy Walnuts, Baby Greens, Cherry Tomato, Red Balsamic Vinaigrette
  • Vegan Sausage Pasta – seared vegan Italian sausage, penne, marinara, spinach
  • Arrabiata Pasta (request egg-free pasta and without cheese) – Spicy Tomato Sauce, Shallots
  • Puttanesca Pasta (request egg-free pasta and without cheese) – Olives, Capers, Tomato Sauce, Oregano
  • Eggplant Alla Norma Pasta (request egg-free pasta and without cheese) – Tomato Sauce, Basil

Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food

  • Complimentary chips and salsa
  • Guacamole appetizer (prepared table-side)
  • Elotes (roasted corn on the cob) appetizer (ask to remove mayo and cheese)
  • Vegetable quesadillas appetizer (ask to remove cheese; make sure they use the vegan tortillas)
  • Taco Salad (ask to replace beef and cheese with black beans and salsa; confirm dressing is vegan or ask to remove) – Beef machaca, romaine, tomatoes, jalapeños, avocado, cotija cheese, chile ancho tostadas, avocado dressing
  • Vegetable fajitas (ask to remove cheese and sour cream; house-made flour tortillas have milk, so ask for vegan flour or corn tortillas)
  • Vegetarian enchiladas (ask to remove cheese and sour cream; make sure they use corn tortillas) – There have been some reports that the side of rice may not be vegan at all times. Ask to confirm with a chef or replace the side of rice and beans with another side such as sweet plantains or yuca fries.
