Lake Buena Vista, EPCOT, Fla.- Are you ready for “A culinary mashup of global cultures and gourmet innovation”? Of course you are! And this year you get a record breaking 87 days to enjoy it!? The 24th EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is about to begin, so here is your Vegan guide to help you taste your way around the World Showcase.
Epcot guests can begin with the aromas and flavors of 30 festive global food and wine marketplaces that extend from Future World to encircle the World Showcase promenade.
Maybe some Spicy Hummus Fries with Cucumber, Tomatoes and Onions are more your speed. It is offered with a Tzatziki/Chipotle sauce, so you will have to ask for it without BOTH sauces, which is not an issue. (Please note that due to a recipe change the mixed tomato topping IS NOT vegan)
If you are looking for a little pep, the Spicy Kenyan Vegan Githeri with White Beans, Pigeon Peas, Curry Rice Pilaf and Kachumbari Slaw could be a great choice.
